Large (6") Pyramid with Vacuum Tubes and White Stone Skull

The Egyptian pharaohs built their great pyramids to house their bodies and effects prior to their journey to the afterlife. They were houses of the dead but also houses of history.

This pyramid was created in the digital age. A skull sits atop a collection of old vacuum tubes and clock gears, as if guiding them into the afterlife. The whole piece stands as a symbol of one age falling away into the past as another age rises in its place. Like the great pyramids at Giza it is a house of death but it is also a house of history. And in a thousand years, it too may find its way into a display of antiquities from our own lifetimes, still storing history for that new age of humanity, which itself will also drift away into history.
